Metal wreck of a ship, visible when surveyed at low tide. One suggestion is that this could be the wreck of the steel cargo ship, the SS Anna, which ran aground near St Combs on the 7th December 1959, during a storm (information sourced from www.wrecksite.eu). The remains of this wreck may relate to HER record NK06SE0011, which describes the remains of a wreck, which may have been wrecked during WWII. There are a number of ship wrecks located in the vicinity of St Combs but as the visible frame is metal and not wood.
