| Circa 5m diameter circular bowl-like structure. At east end of the foundations of a rectangular building. Survives up to 2m high. Roughly hewn granite blocks, random rough coursed, filling chips around blocks, some surviving mortar. Same construction as tower house. Possible flue on west side. Depicted on 1868 and 1899 OS as already unroofed. Corn drying kiln? The other walls appear to have been reused to make a track/ entrance way to the tower house. |
