Description
| Footbridge built in the 1991, as a replacement for an original concrete structure built in 1924 as a gift of local philanthropist Alexander Birnie, and dedicated to his father George Birnie who had served as harbour master of Peterhead. The bridges replaced a ferry crossing slightly downstream. |
