About The SCAPE Trust

The SCAPE Trust is a charity that seeks to research, conserve and promote the archaeology of Scotland's coast. SCAPE is especially interested in remains that are threatened by coastal erosion.

Our main website has information about our projects, including the award-winning Shorewatch project. You can also download a series of publications relating to recent work on the coastal archaeology of Scotland.

SCAPE is run by a board of directors comprising both archaeologists and others with an interest in Scotland's shores. Tom Dawson, Joanna Hambly and Steph Garling manage the day to day running of the company's affairs.
